The picture was taken before La' Erotica the poet (middle) snapped us to attention with her enticing poems of seduction and desire.
The picture was taken before Relana (right), owner of Good Gyrrl Studio, trained us on what it means, how it looks, and how it feels to be... sensual.
We were joined by new students just as excited as I was to begin our journey to learn the art of tease.
Located in the Bridgeport Art Center, Good Gyrrl Studio was very welcoming starting with its golden doors, chic decor, and poles (yes, poles). Once you take in the entire scene you are immediately drawn into the prowess that is expressed and taught in this place. Toto we're not in Kansas and you will NOT leave the same way that you came in.
We received a live reading of "Take It" by La' Erotica that playfully illustrated the desire to be dominated or made love to aggressively, which was a great segway to talk about tantalizing your mate to heighten desire and to arouse yourself as well.
The ladies were lined up and instructed to touch... themselves. We not talking about really intimate touching like you would if you were alone but touching your arms to take in the sensation of your skin. Watching yourself as you explore and discover your curves. Taking in the moment to realize that you feel good, regardless of who may be watching, and you love you.
A series of deep breaths, rubs on the thighs, and I believe I touched my inner vixen!
We went through a few choreographed walks, crawls, and stares that would break down communication to the slightest hand gesture. As our Head Temptress demonstrated moves for us to try we were all "hipnomesmerized" at the gazes and body movements combined. It really was a treat and even more so empowering to know that I could do the same thing and be just as sexy in my own way.
Good Gyrrl Studio's Vixen School has not heard the last of me or The Meow University!!! What I learned that night has changed my routine of flirting and engaging in play with my husband forever... Just so you know I have my eye on the class "Round of Applause". Log onto http://www.goodgyrrl.com and tell me what you think about that class!
